A/Z's team is providing CM services for the new National Coast Guard Museum, which will be constructed in New London’s waterfront district. The project includes the construction of a new sheet pile bulkhead and fill in order to create a suitable construction site for the museum.

The 89,000-square-foot museum will be constructed on a pile foundation and is located within the flood plain. In addition to the museum and bulkhead and fill, the project also includes the construction of a new pedestrian bridge and revitalizing and expanding the waterfront area to support the building footprint and exterior guest areas.

Phase One to construct the bulkhead and fill began in Fall 2022 and nearing completion. Currently, Phase Two Early Release Bid Packages are scheduled for release starting March 20, 2023.
